HOLY SHITBALLZ I’m going back to derby
After waiting for Bonts and then waiting for money to be available, I’m finally going back to derby training this Wednesday. It’s been almost 4 months and I’ve noticed when I’ve been outdoor skating randomly that my leg strength is no-where near what it was when I was training. I know, I know, I can’t expect my muscles to stay the same with 4 months of no skating and now I feel like an idiot for not doing some off-skates training. Well I did do some off-skates training.
For like, 2 months.
And then I got all depressed about my Bonts taking forever and I felt like there wasn’t a point to training if I didn’t have skates.
*le sigh* Looks like it’s back to training toot-sweet for me.
On a side note, RUNNING IS STOOPID. I hate walking/running, I’d rather skate, but I can only do that at night when the kids are in bed and usually at night I don’t want to exercise. So, I do interval training during the day a la BodyRock which has been proven to increase you Max VO2 (cardio endurance). 12 mins of intense training = increase in cardio = more time to sit on mah but trawlin’ the internets for things. Yup, I’m lazy like that.
