Let me tell you a story about Ming Ching Chow. She is that girl I am pushing in the photo. When my league first started up, we were 3 months old. Our coaches put us against this fabulous team, full of huge bulky teenagers who have been around for much longer than us. They kicked our asses. And me, I was put up against this girl, Ming, to jam. She was snarky and disgusting the whole time. They beat us by at least twice the points, it was quite an unfair game. She came up to me afterwards and gave me the most insincere thank for the game.
I have had a grudge against her ever since.
But Saturday, we played them again. We’re about 9 months old now. We’ve improved a whole lot. We smeared their asses on the floor. And the whole time, the whole time, I was beating the shit out of Ming. And there wasn’t anything she could do about it. It was probably the most gratifying experience I’ve ever had in my life, and after each jam ended, I returned to the bench with a huge grin across my face every single time. This photo is from Saturday.
We beat them, by the way. 74 to 75.

Derby revenge is SWEET!
